Easter 2008

We had an excellent Easter Sunday with family and friends - both grandparents, great-grandma (aka Mager), and our neighbors joined us for a little feast at the Breeding household. Unfortunately, the weather didn't allow us to have a Easter egg hunt outside (it was snowing), but the Easter Bunny did hid the eggs in the house and leave a basket of goodies for both kids. And, Stacy, I am right there with you 'what global warming'?

Odds and Ends

Here are odds and ends of our happenings!!


Cole, of course, had to get his mohawk cleaned up (he is all about the hair right now).


He even convinced our neighbor, Cole8, to get a mohawk. They both got color in their hawk. Cole6 got white, Cole8 got red, and the hairdresser, she had blue.


Sophia is getting bigger each day or should I say wider! :-) She is discovering her world around her. My how time flies!!!


Nick was feeding Sophia some organic bananas. She wasn't quite sure of them at first.



Then she really dug them. We had to cut her off because I was afraid she might OD on some bananas on the first go-round! I couldn't believe it.


Well, Sophia has found a new best friend. It is almost an obsession she has with Cole. He can't barely leave the room without her pitching a fit. When I am feeding Sophia she will nearly break her neck to find Cole, if she hears his voice. Of course, he is the best big brother - he is so patient with her.

We are blessed with two great children. A gift from heaven.

Snow Day

It did snow in STL on Monday after on Sunday being 78 degrees. As Cole would say "what the.....??". We got only about 4 inches, but where my dad lives he got around 10 inches. Here are some pictures of Nick and Cole enjoying the late afternoon.

The war is on with the neighbors. Lance and his son Cole (aka Cole8) vs. Nick and Cole (aka Cole6 soon to be Cole7). That is how we identify each of our Coles.


Little Miss Princess just slept away as the boys enjoyed the snow day.

A day at the STL Zoo

It was a record breaking day of 78 degrees in St. Louis on Sunday (tonight it is suppose to snow - go figure St. Louis weather), so we took advantage of it and spent the day at the zoo. Papa and Nana joined us and we all had a fantastic day!! The Zoo is one of Cole's favorite places to go. Cole showed Sophia all the animals and gave her facts on each one. Cole even made it into the local news. As one of the newscasters was interviewing someone at Forest Park, Cole got in the background of the interview acting like a goof-ball.
